James’ Obituary RUGGLES, James – of Flint, age 76, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at McLaren Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, January 25, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. , Davison; Pastor Wilford Carlson officiating.

Burial with Military Honors will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 PM Thursday and 10-11 AM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, checks can be made payable to Vibrant Emotional Health.

James was born in Burton, MI on April 16, 1942, son of the late Glen and Lois (Dafoe) Ruggles. He married Carole Perry on April 20, 1963. James proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

James is survived by his wife, Carole Ruggles; children, Douglas (Karrie) Ruggles, Elizabeth Williams; grandchildren, Brittany and Amanda Ruggles, Kayla, Emily, Nathan, Asheleigh and Aaron Williams; great grandchildren, Ysabellah Ruggles and Zachariah Colon; brothers, Ron (Irene) Ruggles, Leonard (Sue) Ruggles; sister, Catherine (Wilford) Carlson; sister-in-law, Patricia Ruggles.
