James’ Obituary James Silas Stratton, 79, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Signature Care at Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg. Mr. Stratton was born July 2, 1939 in Anderson County to the late Obed and Madge Beatrice (Holt) Stratton. Mr. Stratton was a former educator for the Kentucky Public School System and also a former employee with the Kentucky State Government.

Along with his parents, Mr. Stratton was preceded in death by a brother, David Michael Stratton; and two sisters, Lenora Drummond and Geraldine Drury. Mr. Stratton is survived by two brothers, Billy Stratton and his wife Joyce, and Kenneth “Bud” Stratton and his wife Jo, all of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Janice Peach and her husband Charles of Lawrenceburg, and Jane Wood of Georgetown. A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, KY.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
