James E. Keaton James Ernest Keaton, 90 of Parkersburg, passed away January 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 22, 1928 in Klondike, OH, a son of the late Jake Morgan Keaton and Mary Catherine (Peck) Keaton. Mr. Keaton worked in the grocery/wholesale foods industry his entire working life.

He spent 18 years with The Kroger Company. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving is his daughter Debbie Huffman (Tim) of Parkersburg, son Michael Keaton of Parkersburg, grandchildren: Kimberly Cunningham, Mark Earls (Chelsea), Zachary Keaton, Amy Smith (Jay) and Samantha Fisher (D.

J.), great grandchildren: Meghan Cunningham, Olivia and Oliver Earls, A. J. Keaton, Jake Smith, Leah Cumbie and Joshua and Brianna Fisher, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Jo (Lowe) Keaton, brother Bobby Lee Keaton and sister Mary Frances Beaver. Funeral services will be Monday 3PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor John Lands officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Entombment will be Tuesday 1PM at the Ridgelawn Memorial Park Huntington, WV with visitation one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church 3300 Rosemar Road Vienna, WV 26105.
