Samuel Alan Workman, 57, of Parkersburg, died January 15, 2019, at his residence. He was born September 25, 1961, in Parkersburg, and was the son of Jo Ann Forrester of Vienna and the late Fred Ray Workman. Samuel had worked as a mechanic.

He enjoyed watching TV and taking care of his little doggie Roscoe. In addition to his mother he is survived by a brother Franklin D. Cale (Patti) of Dalton, GA; sister Rebecca J. Workman of Vienna; nieces Elainna Cale and Jennifer Ruble (Michael); great grand nephew Logan Ruble; great grand niece Adisson Ruble; uncle Ed Workman (Diana) of Walker, WV; cousins John Workman, Dawn Workman, Todd Workman and Connie Workman. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Joseph Workman and infant John E. Workman.

Memorial services will be 5 pm Friday January 18, 2019, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Parkersburg, with Pastor Daniel Stevens officiating. Inurnment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 18, 2019, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, Parkersburg, WV. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
