Walter Bryan Buskirk, 57 of Belpre, Ohio died on January 11, 2019 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on October 3, 1961 and was the son of the late George Mortimer and Patricia Ann Kidder Buskirk. He had worked for Kroger’s for 40 years.

He had been a Cub Scout Leader for the Boy Scout Troop #91 in Belpre for several years. He loved his family and spending time with them. He loved music, hiking, fishing and just being outdoors.

He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Jonell Bailey Buskirk, two sons, Zachary (Dawn) Buskirk of Belpre, Jacob Buskirk of Belpre and his grandson, Luke Buskirk. Also surviving him is his sister, Kelli Buskirk McDougle (Steve) of Belpre and several nieces and nephews and his mother in law, Judie (Charlie) Nichols.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Vickie Lynn Buskirk and his father in law, James Bailey. Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Mark Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM till the time of services at 11:00 AM on Tuesday. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hope Hollow, P. O.
