Warren Ward Carmichael, 93 of Vienna, WV died at Wyngate on January 17, 2019. He was born on July 1, 1925 in Silverton, WV. He graduated from Ravenswood High School.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the United Nations Conference on International Organization in San Francisco, CA in 1945. He spent 37 years with Sears Roebuck & Co., retiring in 1986 as manager of the Distribution Center in the Company’s Eastern Territory. He served 2 terms as Governor of the Moose Lodge 1118 of Parkersburg from 1960 to 1961.

He spent 27 years in Sun City West, AZ. He loved golfing and traveling domestically and internationally. Survivors include his wife, Betty of 62 years, who resides at Wyngate, and one sister Mary Britton of Vienna, WV and several nieces and nephew.

Preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Reverend Gary Schiefer officiating. Burial will follow in the Ravenswood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Military rites will be conducted by Post #15 of the American Legion, Parkersburg. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
