Charles Griffin Low Charles Griffin Low, 91 of Parkersburg went to be with his Lord and Savior January 15, 2019. He was born in Wood County June 30, 1927 a son of the late Emerson Griffin Low and Achsah Gertrude (Reed) Low. Charles was a member of Murphytown United Methodist Church, DAV Chapter 32, Mountain State Sportsman Association, and NRA.

He was an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Charles is survived by his wife of 70 years Glenna Florene (Park) Low of Parkersburg, daughter, Sharon Ann Harper (Dale Seese) of Harrisville, WV, grandson, Dan Ramsey of Parkersburg, sister-in-law, Dottie Low of Columbus, OH, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jack Low Ramsey, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Marie Laughlin, David Low, Lourania Ramsey, and Edward Low.

Service will be Friday 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Mary Zimmer officiating. Visitation will be Friday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
