Michael Allen Tice, 69, of Vienna passed away January 18, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born on March 19, 1949 in Parkersburg and was the son of the late Charles Allen and Frances Marie Fleming Tice. Michael was a 1969 graduate of Belpre High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy until 1979.

After his 10 years of service, Michael attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and graduated in 1981. Michael was a teacher and served his community in many aspects including membership in Belpre Masonic Lodge #609, Geppetto Wood Carvers and Temple Israel in Charleston, WV. He also volunteered his time with Cub Scout Pack 104 and the Davis Anderson Memorial Pinewood Derby.

Surviving Michael is his loving wife of 44 years Penelope Kay Tice of Vienna, WV, daughter Lindsay Kay Tice of Charlotte, NC and brother Bick Tice (Elaine) of Vienna, WV. Per his request, a private service will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Parkersburg PO Box 392 Parkersburg, WV 26101 or Temple Israel 2312 Kanawha Blvd E Charleston, WV 25311.
