Lloyd E. McClung, Sr. , 80, of Walker died January 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born February 7, 1938 in Wood County, WV a son of the late Earnest and Mary Ball McClung. Lloyd retired from Loomis Fargo, was a US Army veteran and member of Southside Southern Baptist Church in Parkersburg.

Having grown up on the family farm, Lloyd developed a deep love of hunting, fishing, the outdoors, gardening, farm animals and all wildlife. He is survived by his wife, Mattie McClung; six children, Barbara, Edward, Carl, Brenda, Lloyd, Jr., Amanda; nine grandchildren, Brent, Tara, Rachel, Jake, Tyler, Samantha, Seth, Elena, Gabriel; nine great grandchildren; two step-daughters, Rhonda and Diana; four sisters, Allie, Betty, Anne, Verona and one brother, Glen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl, Gladys, Basil and Doris.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019, 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home of Parkersburg, with Pastor Don Yeager, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery North with military rites by the American Legion Post #15. Visitation will be held Monday, January 28, 2019, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, WV and Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
