Obituary for James Williams James “Jim” Williams, 76, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Jim was one of 8 children, he was born on April 12, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the late John and Genevieve (Galen) Williams. He attended Our Lady of Sorrows in Farmington and upon graduation served in the army.

He earned a degree in Systems Engineering from Oakland University and Masters in Business Administration from Walsh College. Jim was passionate about skiing and golf and shared his passion with his family and friends. He served on the Michigan Ski Patrol for many years.

He had a very successful career in General Motors, Electronic Data Systems, Logica, and served a Dean of Business and Culinary Arts at Macomb Community College before retiring. He is survived by his wife, JoAnne, his children, Jonathan, Brent and Erica, and a large extended family. A memorial service will be held at St. Hugo of the Hills Catholic Church in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan on Tuesday, October 30th from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M. A funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 A.m.
