Bluefield, WV- Janet Gail Bowling Perkey McGlothlin, 80, of Bluefield, WV, died Wednesday February 13, 2019. Born October 14, 1938 in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Bowling and Janie Hager Bowling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Perkey, and her second husband, Howard McGlothlin; and siblings, Donald R. Bowling, Frances Johnson, Kenneth Bowling, and Harold Bowling.

Survivors include her sons, Walter L. Perkey and Christopher Perkey; brother, James L. Bowling; granddaughter, Brittany Perkey; step-grandchildren, Cory Somoskey and Phillip Somoskey; and four great-grandchildren, Logan Somoskey, Khloe Combs, Carter Combs, and Kingsley Combs. In accordance with Mrs. McGlothlin’s wishes, there will be no services and she will be cremated. Those wishing to share memories or condolence messages with the family may do so by visiting www.
