Obituary for Janice Haws Howard Janice Haws Howard, age 81, of Johnson City, TN passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Darrell W. Haws and Billie Jo Shepherd Haws. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell W. Haws Jr

She was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School and of Lincoln Memorial University. She retired from WKYT-TV in Lexington, Kentucky. She was a member of Watauga Avenue Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder and Clerk of Session.

Ms. Howard is survived by two sons; John David Howard and wife, Lisa, of Knoxville, TN and Jasper Alan Howard and wife, Eve, of Washington D.C. Four grandsons; Luke Howard of Knoxville, TN and Charles, Jake, and Sam Howard all of Washington, D.C. One brother; Bradley Haws and wife, Sadie of Piney Flats, TN. A sister in law, Joan Haws, of Eatonton, Ga. Also two nieces and several cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Tetrick Funeral & Cremation Services in Johnson City, on Sunday, April 29, 2018. It was her wishes to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be sent to Watauga Avenue Presbyterian Church, 610 East Watauga Avenue, Johnson City, TN 37601.
