Obituary for Mr. Jared C. Studeny Mr. Jared C. Studeny, 39, of Lanesborough and formerly of Wilbraham, MA, passed away on September 16, 2018 after complications of pneumonia at Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Springfield, MA on May 1, 1979. He was a graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham.

Jared was an incredibly talented artist and poet. He was a music aficionado of many music genres, especially alternative rock. His favorite band was Green Day.

He was a very happy go lucky man that was a joy to have in our family. He was filled with love and expressed it in every day in many ways including through his quick wit and sharp sense of humor. He really understood what it meant to go with the flow of life.

Jared absolutely loved going out for a Starbucks Frappuccino. He will be dearly missed by all those he touched. He is survived by his father, Richard A. Studeny and his wife Susan of Taunton; his mother, Gale (Sakaris) Young and her husband Kenan of Hardwick; his sister Gretchen (Studeny) Silva and her husband David of Carver; step-brothers, Scott Chase of Whittman and Winston Mignott of Taunton; his aunt Athena (Sakaris) Gamache and her husband Michael of Lisbon Falls, ME; his niece, Olivia Silva of Carver; many loving cousins including Janice (Klangos) Oliva and her husband Brian of Milford, OH; Christine (Oliva) Wachter and her husband Ronnie of Chicago, IL; Michael Oliva and his wife Ellina of Cincinnati, OH; many other beloved extended family members; all the staff and residents of Berkshire County Arc who is his second family.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, James & Elizabeth (Klangos) Sakaris; his paternal grandparents, Richard F. & Jeannette (LaFlamme) Studeny; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mr. Jared C. Studeny will be Friday, September 21, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA, with Rev. William Furey, officiating.

Cremation will follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will precede the service from 4 to 6 p.m. There will be a memorial service at a later date in Eastern Massachusetts.
