Jean’s Obituary Kittery – Jean C. Allen passed away December 23rd, 2018. Born December 23rd, 1938, she was the only child of Martha Theodora (Lunden) and Alexander Cant Jr. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband, Bruce D. Allen; father, Alexander Cant Jr. and her mother, Martha Theodora Lunden. She is survived by her two daughters, Katherine and Susan Allen.

Jean attended Boston University, where she met her husband Bruce D. Allen. She worked as a social worker for over 20 years. Later in life Jean and Bruce travelled to Scotland.

Jean was a warm, bubbly, generous woman who always made her friends and family feel loved. She enjoyed genealogy, reading biographies, classical music, the Peanuts comic and always had a liking for Paul Newman. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2018, from 11am-1p, at the JS Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Rd, Kittery, Maine.
