Obituary for Jean Carter Church Funeral services for Jean Carter Church, 75, of Frankfort, will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Buck Run Baptist Church in Frankfort. Dr.Wesley Noss will officiate with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home.
Ms. Church died Thursday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. A native of Lexington, Jean worked as an Administrative Specialist for the Kentucky Department of Transportation and was a member of Buck Run Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Church, and her parents, Henrietta Conyers and Glennie Fulton Carter.
Survivors include her children, Nathan and Misty Church, both of Frankfort; grandchildren, Amanda Conner, Steven Payne, Taylor Wingate, Jordan, Michael, John Carter, and Mallory Church; and great-grandchildren, Alexia, Ava, Michael, and Scilas. She is also survived by her sister, Billie Nadine Stallesworth, Austin, TX. Pallbearers will be members of her Buck Run Baptist Church family.
