Obituary for Sandra Kay Armstrong Funeral services for Sandra Kay Devore Armstrong, 71, of Perry Park, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home. Jim Wood will officiate with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Armstrong died Saturday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. A native of Frankfort, Sandra was an Administrative Assistant for the Kentucky Department of Insurance and a member of New Liberty Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mary Kathryn Burton Devore and brothers David and Donald Devore.
Survivors include, her husband, John “Mike” Armstrong, daughter, Rita Kathryn Sharpe, Frankfort, step-daughter, Lorie Jane Davis, of Owenton, step-sons, John Michael Armstrong Jr., and Kelly Armstrong, both of Frankfort; brothers, Ronald (Shannon) Devore, Perry Park, and Albert (Phyllis) Devore, Frankfort; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be David Devore, Paul Devore, Brian Devore, Joe Wood, Scott Sharpe and Jeremy Sharpe. You may share memories and leave condolences on the tribute wall at www.
