Jeanette Cotter, Kaukauna, age 88 passed away on July 24, 2018, Mom’s long, difficult journey with Alzheimer’s Disease ended. Jeanette was born April 10, 1930 to the late Raymond and Catherine St. Louis. On a beautiful summer day while riding her bike, she met Melvin Cotter.

They were wed on April 24, 1948 – sharing 67 years together. It was another sunny summer day that they were united again in heaven. They had two children, Mary Kay (Steven) Hurkman and Rodney (Sandra) Cotter Grandchildren: Katherine (Robert) Weix, Michelle (Charles) Gaitz, Sara (George) Lane.

Great grandchildren: Braeden and Trevor Weix, Charles Ethan and Morgan Gaitz, Charli, George IV, and Jackson Lane. Also survived by her brother Raymond (Angie) St Louis and sister Nancy Bruce. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Melvin on April 17, 2016.

Further deceased by her granddaughter Lisa Cotter, sisters Kathleen St. Louis and Ethel Callaway and brother LeRoy St. Louis. Her family would like to thank the staff at American Grand in Kaukauna – Rachel, Jenica, Austin, and Amber to name a few. Thank you for Mom’s wonderful care.

Also special thanks to her roommate Linda. We would also like to thank Dr. Patricia Demery and her staff at Compassus and Kent Boettcher and staff at Boettcher Family Funeral Home. A private family service will be held.

A celebration of Jeanette and Melvin being together again will be held Saturday, July 28th from 3-5 pm at American Grand, 793 Tarragon Drive, Kaukauna, WI.
