Obituary for Jeanette Tiller (Edwards) Mrs. Jeanette Edwards Tiller, age 83, of Belfast, Virginia, passed away Sunday (July 15, 2018) in a Columbus, Georgia hospital. Born December 19, 1934 in Dickenson County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Ora and Ida Fuller Edwards. A lifelong resident of Southwest Virginia, she attended Bradshaw Memorial Church.
A loving wife and mother, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, and reading, but most of all spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Zed Tiller, one son, Robin Tiller, one grandson, Zachary Tiller, one brother, Jimmy Edwards, and two sisters, Macel Bartley and Vera Miller. Survivors include seven children, Randy Tiller and wife, Rita of Council, Ginger Breeding and husband, Danny of Belfast, Mickey Tiller and wife, Kitty of Haysi, Karen Nelson and husband, Bobby of Belfast, Clark Tiller and companion, Dee of Council, Kevin Tiller and wife, Lisa of Lebanon, and Paula Fuller and husband, Freddie of Belfast; one brother, Evon Edwards and wife, Ann of Havana, Florida; nineteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson, Rev. Billy Harris and Rev.
Dan Bowling officiating. Interment will follow in Frank Smith Cemetery, Big A Mountain, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Randy Tiller, Robin Tiller, Scott Breeding, Jared Ratliff, Clark Tiller, Caleb Stocks, Ryan Perkins, and John Tiller.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Wednesday, where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 PM.
