Jerlean Fletcher April 10, 1926 – February 25, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Jerlean Fletcher, age 92, of Tipton, Indiana passed away on Monday February 25, 2019 at Millers Merry Manor in Tipton. She was born on April 10, 1926 the daughter of Isaiah and Druie (Woods) Arnett. On February 2, 1950 Jerlean married Sewell Fletcher in a ceremony in Noblesville and he passed away on June 25, 1988 after 38 years of marriage.

Jerlean was a member of the Tipton Hospital Auxiliary where she volunteered in the hospital’s gift shop. She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church and previously attended East Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church both of Tipton. In her spare time Jerlean enjoyed volunteering at Second Blessings, babysitting, going to rummage sales, camping and fishing.

She had worked the fall harvest at Pioneer Hybrid on and off over the years. Jerlean is survived by her children; Linda (Jim) Miller, Jeff (Lilli) Fletcher, Terry Fletcher, and Patty (Tony) Frawley along with 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and several nieces & nephews. Her buddy Aggie a dog also survives.

Jerlean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sewell, 4 brothers; John, Porter, June and Leon Arnett. Visitation is from 11 AM to 2 PM on Saturday March 2, 2019 at the Porter Funeral Home located at 726 East North Street in Tipton. Funeral services will take place at 2 PM immediately following visitation.

Pastor Gary Fletcher will be officiating. Interment will follow in Tipton’s Fairview Cemetery.
