Jerome P. “Jerry”‘s Obituary Jerome Paul “Jerry” McColligan Sr, 75, of Derry passed away on Saturday morning, December 29, 2018 in Derry, NH. He was born on August 13, 1943 in Scranton, PA to the late John and Alice McColligan. He attended local schools and proudly joined The United States Air Force in 1963 where he served until 1967.

Following his discharge, Jerry raised his family in Southern NH and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from The University of New Hampshire. In his youth, Jerry enjoyed music and played bass guitar. In later years he developed a love for painting and often filled countless hours enjoying this hobby.

He was also an avid New England sports fan with a particular soft spot for the RedSox. Jerry is survived by his brother Carl, his sons, Jerome, Michael, Mark, and Thomas, his daughter Tina, his stepson Raymond and his stepdaughter Lisa. He is also survived by his twenty-three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren along with so many dear friends and extended family members.

He was predeceased by his two wives, Georgianna Koons and Barbara Conlin; as well as his Son Paul McColligan. Calling hours will be held Friday, Jan. 4th from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12 noon at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road Windham, NH Burial with Air Force Honors will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH.
