Jerry Ray Horn, born March 29, 1943, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 at University of Louisville Hospital. Jerry served in the US Army serving several tours in Vietnam and retired after 24 years.

He went on to work as a cross-country truck driver for Schneider Trucking, where he also retired after many years. Jerry was a member of Stithton Baptist Church. He enjoyed making beautiful pictures with his woodworking, and he loved working outside and spending time with his wife.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Rawlings Horn; sister, Diane Newcomb (Don), brother, Darrell Horn; 5 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jeannette Upchurch; son, Darin Horn; granddaughter, Brittney Turner; and parents, William and Clata Horn. Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. CST, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Stithton Baptist Church, 95 Park Avenue, Radcliff, KY.

Burial will be Private. Local arrangements are being handled by Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN.
