Obituary for Jesse Delbert “Jess ” Reinhardt Ringling – Funeral Services for Mr. Jesse “Jess” Delbert Reinhardt, 90, of Ringling are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday Jan. 3, 2019 at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Ringling with Bro.
John Spradlin officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
Jess was born on February 8, 1928 at Healdton to the late Mr. Jesse Delbert Reinhardt, Sr. and Mrs. Clara Belle (Walk) Reinhardt. He departed from this life on Saturday evening Dec. 29, 2018 at the hospital in Healdton.
Jess was raised initially in Healdton attending school there. He began work at a very young age leaving this area quite frequently following farm work. He always consider this area to be his home.
Jess married the former Mildred “Millie” (Provence) Rhone on July 20, 1957 at Ardmore. They raised four children, Larry, Nancy, Marla and Leda. Jess was an accomplished mechanic and retired from Operating Engineers as a heavy equipment operator.
He participated in the construction of the Red Rock Dam where he operated the cement plant Des Moines River near Knoxville, Iowa. He loved building motorcycles and Dune-buggies and enjoyed making many memories with his family riding them in the desert. Jess moved to Ringling in 2009 with Millie where they have remained and enjoyed attending church at the Mt.
Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Ringling. Preceding him in death are his parents; a son Larry Reinhardt; grandson, Michael Thornton; brothers, Noel, Tim and Dan; and his twin sister, Jessie Ann Burnes. Survivors include his wife Millie of the home; daughters, Nancy Reinhardt of Lakewood, CO, Marla Reed and husband Charles of North Platte, NB and Leda Wetherington of Warr Acres, OK; brother, Robert “Bob” Reinhardt of Overton, NV; sister, Mary Reinhardt of Healdton; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
Casket Bearers will be family. A family visitation time is scheduled for Wed. from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
