Obituary for Jesse F. Rumple Jesse F. Rumple, Sr., 90, of Carthage, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born September 26, 1927 in Shelby County, the son of Ezra Asher and Minnie Della (Price) Rumple. Jesse retired from Container Corporation following 38 years of service.

He was a member of the Carthage Wesleyan Church and enjoyed camping and fishing. Jesse enjoyed spending time with his family and especially family gatherings. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Emma Jean (Adams) Rumple of Carthage; children, Frank Rumple of Rushville, Marjorie (Carl) Smith of Ogden, Edna (Patrick) Partlow of Knightstown, Sharon (Gary) Williams of Carthage, Larry (Connie) Rumple of Knightstown, Sandra Jackson of Carthage, Jesse Rumple, Jr. of Carthage; 20 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Carl Eugene Smith; and eight siblings. Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, April 30, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Rev. Charles Stroud officiating.

Burial will follow in Carthage Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 PM Sunday. Condolences and memories of Jesse may be shared at www.
