Jessie Ciano, 77 of Savannah, Georgia, formerly of Old Bridge, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Hospice of Savannah, surrounded by the love of her family. Born Monday, August 18, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York, Jessie was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Camera. Jessie was raised in Brooklyn.

Jessie was a graduate of Ft. Hamilton High School. She would meet the love of her life, Peter Ciano, and the two would marry.

Soon the family would move to Old Bridge, NJ and that is where she would raise her children. She was active in her children’s lives. Jessie was a parishioner of St. Ambrose Church.

Jessie enjoyed traveling, and shopping. in her spare time she enjoyed ceramics, and decorating the home. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

She will be missed by all those that loved her. Jessie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, Peter, and by her parents Nicholas and Mary. Jessie is survived by her loving children, Gregory Ciano and his wife Christine, Carolyn Gregory and her husband Skylar, and Dawn Brosh and her husband Justin, by her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Gregory, Daniela Frascaria, Nicholas Ciano, Katerina Frascaria, Cameron Brosh, Joseph Ciano, and Tristan Brosh, and ber her caring brother Alphonse Camera.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday at St. Ambrose Church located at 81 Throckmorton Ln Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857. Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick, NJ. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations are made in Jessie’s memory to the Humane Society of Greater Savannah.
