Obituary of Jill Snively Jill (Gihon) Snively, 76, of Warwick Twp. , PA passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Scarlets Mill, PA. She was the wife of the late Thomas C. Snively, II with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.

Born in Trenton, NJ on February 17, 1942, Jill was a daughter of the late Harry D. Gihon and the late Dorothy (Sampson) Gihon. Jill sold real estate for over 35 years through which she made many lifelong friends, she was an active member for over 58 years at the Elverson Garden Club where she also served as president for several years. She loved playing tennis which led her to a longtime membership with the United States Tennis Association.

She enjoyed gardening, spending time at the beach, and enjoying her family and friends. She was part of a book club and also volunteered at the Berks County Women in Crisis Shelter. She is survived by one son, Thomas C. Snively, III, of West Lawn, PA; and one daughter, Jennifer G. Pfeiffer, wife of Marc, of Scarlets Mill, PA; three grandchildren, Blake E. Pfeiffer, Katelyn S. Snively, and Jessica P. Snively; and two sisters, Jane G. Shillaber, Lawrenceville, NJ and Judy G. Leppert, wife of Bill, Chicago, IL.

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the High Point Baptist Chapel, 200 Chapel Rd. , Birdsboro, PA 19523. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jill’s memory to the Jordan Center for Gynecologic Oncology. Please make checks payable to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and mail to Penn Medicine Development Attn: Madeleine Dickinson, 3535 Market St., Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
