Jimmy Lewis Guinn Obituary Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his love ones on June 28, 2018 at the age of 83. He was born April 24, 1935 in Eufaula, McIntosh, Oklahoma to Fred and Della Helms Guinn. He joined The United States Air Force in February 1954.

He served in Korea for one year and was honorably discharged in November 1957. He came to Utah in 1956 and was stationed at Hill Air Force Base. On April 27, 1957 he married his life time companion, Glenda Louise Hammon.

Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on September 13, 1975. They were married for 52 years. After service in the USAF, he continued working at HAFB and held various positons before his retirement.

Jimmy was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. He was very active and held various callings including leader ship positions in the Priesthood. He served in the Ogden Temple and in the LDS Employment offices with his wife.

He enjoyed playing church soft ball and loved to watch his sons and grandchildren playing in various sports. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors. He cherished spending time with his family and especially family time at Snowbird.

He loved taking long drives and watching westerns on TV and movies. John Wayne and Clint Eastwood were his favorites. He is survived by his 4 children; Jimmie Lee, Larry (Rose), Jacqueline and Michael (Rachelle); 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one more on the way.

He is also survived by his sister Myrgie G Cummings. He is proceeded in death by his wife, Glenda; granddaughter, Shaylyne M Pearce; his parents and 7 siblings. Services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Chateau Park Ward, 5930 south 2200 west, Roy, Utah.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 5865 south 1900 west, Roy, Utah and prior to the services, at the church, 9:30 to 10:30am. Internment in the Roy City Cemetery. Send condolences to the family at www.
