Kellie was finally relieved of many years of pain due to her battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones in her home where her 3 daughters sat by her side and held her hand until the end on September 20, 2018, just two weeks after her 21st wedding anniversary. Kellie”s life journey began March 6, 1963 when she was born to Max A. and Laura covey in Ogden, UT. She leaves behind siblings, Darla (Mark) Richards, Trudy(Rob) Lewis, Paula (Deven) Grist and brother Max L. (Katie) Covey.
A loving husband Buddy who had taken care of her through her long fight with cancer. Kellie was married where she became a stepmother to Chad (Tiffany) Auble, Kyle(Mariah) Auble, Corey Auble and Kelly Auble. Then together they had her youngest daughter Brooke.
In 1982 she married Jonathan Palmer and had her second oldest daughter Katie Brimhall (Josh) Kap. In 1979 she married Brad Burge who she had her oldest daughter Jennie Jacobsen. Kellie was a great example of patience, kindness and giving.
She loved camping, cake decorating along with decorating for all the holidays. She was talented in so many ways. She could make nothing in to something special.
She was one of the first female managers for u-haul in the ‘90’s where she would installed hitches, help change brakes and keep up the maintenance on all the fleet. She was a very hard worker. She had so many talents, but most of all was the love of her grandchildren who meant the world to her.
Kaylie K. (Preston Collins) Jacobsen, Taylor McKay palmer, Jaycie Kellie Jacobsen, Kyler john Brimhall, Landen Gordon Brimhall, Saybrie Ann Jacobsen, Kasie Auble, Molly Auble, James Auble, Rykor Auble and Degan Auble; who will all miss their grandmother dearly. We are all going to miss all our fun holidays together. She had many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles that are going to miss her dearly as she will them.
We couldn’t have asked for a better mother and we are going to miss her so much words can’t even express. Our family would like to thank her IHC hospice nurse Julie for taking such great care of her and always being there to answer any questions we had. We would also like to thank Dr. Ferrin and nurse Cassie in the IHC ER for all the support when we first found out it had spread to her brain.
Thank you all for your caring hearts and all the love and support you showed us. We also would like to thank the Riverdale 6th ward for all their help and kindness. We would also like to that the Stewart family for all their help and kindness and love through this all.
We love you. Funeral services will be held on September 26, 2018 at Aaron’s mortuary 496 24th street, Ogden, UT. Viewing starts at 9:30 am followed by the funeral at 11 am.
Interment at Washington heights memorial park, 4500 Washington blvd, Ogden, UT.
