Obituary for Tyson Resch Larsen Our dear Ty was received by his brother September 12, 2018. Born September 12, 1980, Ty entered the world with high powered energy that continued throughout his life and amplified his challenges and opportunities. Those who knew him saw the uniqueness of his bi-polar existence and the intensity his highs and lows brought as he traveled a treacherous and complicated path of joys and sorrows.

Ty was interested in martial arts early in life and became proficient in multiple disciplines. He passionately practiced martial arts, energy work, yoga, transcendental meditation and Tibetan healing. He traveled to Germany, India, Indonesia, and all across the US in spiritual quests.

Ty received his CNA in 2011 and certified as a Moral Reconation Facilitator in 2012. He worked in youth group homes and as a security specialist. Ty was a steady volunteer for Operation Adopt a Ghost, Utah Soldier Support, as well.

Ty had a gift for connecting with troubled youth; children adored him, and animals bonded with him easily and fast. He had many relationships with friends who understood his burdens, intellect, insanely funny sense of humor, and his creative bent. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christian ‘Fox’ Larsen.

He is survived by his parents, Steven and Linda Larsen of Ogden, sisters, Stefanie Tracy of Layton, and Frieda (Eric) Taylor of Sugarhouse; and nephews, Zane and Owen Tracy. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Evergreen Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be held from 5-7 pm at Provident Funeral Home, 3800 S.
