Sheri Gabbert, 76 passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at McKay Dee Hospital with her family by her side. Sheri was born on July 16, 1942 in Woodland, Utah a daughter of Rozella Cooley and Elmer Lloyd Atkinson. She graduated from Bingham High School.

Sheri married Neldon James Chadwick on December 18, 1959 in West Jordan, UT, they had four children together and later divorced. She married Robert Thomas “Greg” Gabbert, Jr., on August 2, 1974 in West Jordan, UT and they were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple. Sheri was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She and Greg served a mission in 2002 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Sheri worked at and retired from JC Penny’s. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, family time, was a pretend sports fan, watching her kids and grandkids play sports, camping, sewing and baking.

Surviving are her sweetheart Greg; children: Dori (Laurie Kearl) Chadwick; Laurie (Dale) McCarty; Brad (Patti) Chadwick; Mike Chadwick; all of Brigham City, UT; eight grandchildren: Caleb (Sami) Chadwick; Jaelyn (Tanner) Olsen; Madisen (Brady) Pearson; Jenica (Brennen) Piper; Jace Chadwick; Bailey Chadwick; Kendra (Tim) Lund; Cameron (Brittani) McCarty and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings: Dennis (Jeannene) Atkinson; D’Launa (Lorenz) Rindlisbacher; Galyn (Janet) Atkinson; LeAna (Bruce) Olson; Kalene (Danny) Palmer; Maxine (Mike) McKee; and 35 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Brigham City 21st Ward Chapel, 865 S. 300 W., Brigham City, UT. Viewings will be Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Monday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
