Charlotte Diane Peterson Gould Mulder March 27, 1937 – September 22, 2018 Diane peacefully left this life on September 22, 2018 to be joyously reunited with loved ones who have gone before. Diane was born on March 27, 1937 to Eldred Nels and Ruth Meldrum Peterson. She attended schools in Brigham City and Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School in 1955.

Diane married Robert (Bob) R. Gould on April 1, 1955 in the Logan LDS Temple and together they raised six children. Diane was a devoted mother and grandmother; she especially loved welcoming each new baby into her family. She was a wonderful homemaker and a great cook.

In 1984, after Bob retired from the telephone company, she worked with him managing various hotel and service chains throughout Utah. Together they managed the Ogden Travelodge and the Alana Motel in Clearfield. They also spent a short time as relief managers for Motel 6, and owned and operated a ServiceMaster franchise.

When Bob passed away in 1999, Diane spent several years working at the IRS. On December 2, 2005 Diane married Michael S. T. Mulder. In their union she gained not only a loving husband but also three sons, one daughter, and eight grandchildren.

Together Mike and Diane spent their time traveling and exploring new places. They especially enjoyed their trips to Oregon and back East to visit family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Mike; her children: Paula Bosgieter, Chari (Ken) Hathaway, Melanie (Lyal) Shreve, Curtis (Diana) Gould, Jon (Shelly) Gould, and Jason (Patti) Gould; stepchildren: Michael (Charlotte) Mulder, David (Cate) Mulder, Angela Mulder, and Kevin Mulder; 38 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother, David (Judith) Peterson; sister Nancy Houston; sisters-in-law Pat Peterson, Linda Peterson, Elayne Roberts, Gloria Hathaway, brother-in-law Stan Benedict; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Gould, sisters Pat Lasater and Kathy Benedict, and brothers Gerald, Stan, Andrew, and Steven Peterson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018, at the Foothills Ward Chapel, 1475 Cahoon Street, Ogden.

Viewings will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, and on Friday prior to the services from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
