JoAnn’s Obituary JoAnn (DeNigris) Cooper, 69 of Ocean View, DE passed away December 31, 2018. She was born March 18, 1949 in New York, New York a daughter of the late Victor J. and Margaret (Arkins) DeNigris. JoAnn grew up in Edison, NJ and attended St. Mary’s High School in Perth Amboy.

She was employed by Revlon Edison, Edison US Post Office, Civilian Base Personnel Office Clark AB Philippines, International Paper Company, New Jersey and Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick, NJ. On March 11, 1972 she married John Bradford Cooper in Kirkpatrick Chapel at Rutgers The State University, NJ. JoAnn lived in many places including Highland Park, NJ, Webb AFB Big Springs, TX, MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL, Clark AB Philippines, RAF Bentwaters, UK, Plainsboro, NJ, Somerset, NJ and Ocean View, DE.

She was also fortunate to visit many countries; France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland and China. In her spare time JoAnn enjoyed tennis, Bridge, Mahjong and golf. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at 1 P.M. in the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Road, Ocean View, DE.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children at donate.
