Johanna’s Obituary A Memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia for Johanna (Jody) Lopiccolo Brooks, 44 who passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at The Carpenter House (Hospice) in Lafayette. Reverend E Degeyter will officiate at the memorial service. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cementary by Deacon Wade Broussard.

Jody was a native of New Orleans, LA. She loved bowling, reading books and collect unicorn figurines. Her passion was planting flowers and growing her own vegetables.

Memories of Jody will be cherished for a lifetime. She will deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son Chase Anthony Brooks and husband Terry Brooks of Slidell, LA, her mother Jenny Babin Lopiccolo, brother Troy Bernard Fotsch of New Iberia, LA and Jody’s best friend who was like a sister to her Jackie Ricka of Robert, LA.

Jody was preceded in death by her father Jack Anthony Lopiccolo and her unborn daughter Paige Lynn Brooks. The family would like to thank the staff of The Carpenter House for their excellent care, Father Degeyter and Deacon Broussard.
