Sumner passed away on Thursday at the age of 88. He proudly served his country in the Air Force where he retired. He also worked and retired from the City of Albuquerque.

In his spare time he enjoyed bowling and golfing. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Edith Sumner; one son Clarence Sumner; five daughters Cythnia Seckinger and husband William, Tammy Roberts, Venus Sanford, Patty Miller and husband Larry and Peggy Sedillo; one brother Ira Sumner; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Direct Funeral Services.
