John’s Obituary John Arthur Somerville, 65, of Tannersville, died suddenly on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at home. Born in Hackensack, NJ, he was the son of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Harris) Somerville. He worked for Ford Motor Company for thirty years, retiring in 2004.

John was an active member and Elder of Pocono Mountain Bible Fellowship Church. Surviving are: his wife, Sandra (Wagner) Somerville; four children, Crystal Somerville of Lynchburg, VA, Thomas Somerville of Saylorsburg, Lynnette Wensel of Smyrna, DE and James Somerville of Stroudsburg; four grandchildren; a great grandson; and a sister, Ruthann Ratliff of Rustburg, VA. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd, from the Pocono Mountain Bible Fellowship Church, 141 Montanesca Lane, Mount Pocono; with viewing beginning at 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at noon with pastor Scott Kappes officiating.

Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
