Obituary for John Shodrock Jr. John Steve Shodrock, Jr., 77, of San Antonio, Texas entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 26, 2018. John was born on June 5, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas to John S. Shodrock, Sr. and Rosie (Stanush) Shodrock. John married Marcelline Frey on June 16, 1962 in St. Hedwig, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rosie Shodrock; siblings, Betty Stein, Joanne Carey, Dorothy Currier, and Donald Shodrock. His memory is left to be cherished by his wife of 56 years, Marcelline Shodrock; sons, Stephen Shodrock (Donna), and Damon Shodrock (Arlene); grandchildren, John Colby Shodrock, Shae Lynn Shodrock, and Sarah Katherine Shodrock; brothers, Charles Shodrock (Jennifer), David Shodrock (Charlotte), Gerald Shodrock (Debra), Joseph Shodrock (Margaret), and Thomas Shodrock (Rowena); sisters, Carol Gawlik (Jim), Diane Miller (Dan), and Nancy Shodrock; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be held at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig, Texas on Sunday, July 29, 2018, 5:30pm-8:00pm; the Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.
FUNERAL MASS Monday, July 30, 2018 9:30am Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church St. Hedwig, Texas Interment will follow at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery. Father Bill Zadora will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in John’s name to The Annunciation BVM Catholic Church Kitchen Fund, P.O. Box 100, St. Hedwig, Texas 78152.
