Obituary for John W. King John W. King, 93, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Lutheran Home. He was born June 24, 1924 in Cairo, Illinois to John William and Amy Ann Whiting King. He and Beverly Joyce Feigenspan were married August 11, 1951 at Jefferson City, Missouri.

He served in the Army in WWII. He receieved a degree from University of Missouri. He was employed at Commercial Credit Corporation from 1951 – 1980 and Mercantile Bank in 1980, retiring in 1990.

He was a member of Evening Exchange Club, American Legion Post #63, and VFW Post 3838. He was a member of Abbey Road Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Joyce King of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one son, William B. (Julie) King DDS of Jackson, Missouri; one daughter, Nnncy S.(Bob) Raleigh of Wildwood, Missouri; four grandchildren, Katherine King, Ira King, Emily Norton and Robert Raleigh; three great-grandchildren, Robert Dennis Norton, Raymond Jiang Raleigh and Lee John Raleigh.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 am Monday, June 11, 2018 at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Doug Job officiating. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau with full military honors.
