Celebration of Life Joseph David Ries born in Park City, March 11, 1944 passed this life May 6, 2018. Friends and family are invited to join us in remembering the happy and loving memories of my best friend and husband, wonderful father, and greatest grandpa. He truly loved his family.

We can be happy that he can finally find that comfy spot,be off fishing and working on the big movie set in the sky. He was a veteran of the US Army, retired from Hill AFB, and actor. (He was a featured extra on countless TV, movie and commercial productions.

) Survived by his loving family, wife, Dianne Douglas Ries; daughter and husband, Wendi Ries Whitzell and Michael Whitzell; grandchildren: Breanna (19) Gadge (16) Olivia (11); brothers: Wm Bradford, Tom and Darrell Ries and many loving extended family members and friends. Join us May 26, 2018 from 3 to 5 pm at 2600 North Hill Field Rd #140, Layton, UT to honor his love, courage, and strength.
