Joseph (Huero) Blains Jr. 47 of Salinas, passed September 22, 2018, after a brief illness. He was born July 31, 1971 and was a lifelong resident of Salinas. He enjoyed being with family and friends.

Most importantly he was very proud of his children, and the love of his life Sonia Garcia, who he loved dearly. Joseph was very artistic, humerous and a loving person, who was always the life of the party and willing to go the extra mile for anyone. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Blains and great uncle Trini Caudillo.

He is survived by the Love of his life (Sonia Garcia) of Salinas, son Joseph Blains III, daughter Andrea Blains, and two grandchildren, mother Rosemary Blains, sisters Rebecca, Theresa, and Stormy Blains, brothers David, Anthony, Steve and Matthew Blains, grandmother Lupe Gallegos, aunt/uncle Lupe and Robert Guerrero, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis Street, Salinas, California 93901. Church Service 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 29, 2018 at Church of the Rock, 1375 E. Market St. Salinas CA.
