AFC Joseph R. Guivens, Jr. (USN, Ret. ), 79, of Orange Park, FL passed away January 15, 2018. He was born August 31, 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Joseph R. Guivens and Mary Crombie Guivens.

Joseph was a member of Gateway Rifle & Pistol Club in Jacksonville and enjoyed spending time there. He loved word working, but most of all traveling and taking cruises with his wife Dorothy. Joseph is preceded by his wife, Dorothy Guivens and survived by his grandson, Federick Vescera.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time.
