Obituary of Josh Foustnight Josh Foustnight, 45, Marion, passed away at 11:05 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Marion General Hospital. He was born in Marion on February 9, 1973, to Jerry Foustnight and Becky (Jones) Hill. Josh graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1991 and continued his post-secondary education at Purdue University, where he studied mechanical engineering.

He was a veteran of the Air Force and served during Operation Desert Storm, achieving the rank of Airman. Following his military service, he worked in Anderson before working three years as head of the maintenance department at River Valley Communities. Josh was a jack-of-all-trades who enjoyed tinkering and fixing things himself, from working on projects around the home to electronics.

He was an avid racing fan and liked to go to drag races. Josh will be remembered as a hard-working, kind, and loving provider to his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Jerry D. (Maurie) Foustnight, Marion, and Becky (Don) Hill, Jonesboro; fiancée, Lacy A. Smith, Marion; children, Alyssa (Elijah) Scott, Jonesboro, and twins, Bryan and Dalton Foustnight, both from Anderson; grandson, Abel Scott; brothers, Austin and Ross; sisters, Laynie and Taylor; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; grandmothers, Wanda Foustnight and Kate Cruzan; and his pot belly pig, Sue Sue.

Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Gerald Foustnight and Richard Jones, Sr., as well as his grandmother, Doris Jones. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Services to celebrate Josh’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Morrell officiating.

Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for the care of his children through Star Financial Bank. Online condolences may be made at www.
