Obituary of Lewanna Davis Lewanna Yvonne Davis, 50, Marion, went to be with the Lord at 2:19 p.m. on September 5, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel. She was born in Bluffton on March 20, 1968, to Walter (Dorothy) Davis. Lewanna did clerical work at Conduent.

She was a member of Rising Star Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and was also in charge of the youth. She enjoyed traveling and doing crafts. She is survived by her parents, Walter (Dorothy) Davis; sons, Devin and Jeswan Davis, both from Marion; sisters, Clarissa (Marty) Mills, Indianapolis, and Phayle McCoy, Marion; and one niece and several nephews.

Her brother, Antonio Davis, preceded her in death. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at The River Church, 759 S. Lenfesty Ave. , Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Lewanna’s life will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jimmie Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
