Obituary of Dolores Clair Dolores Clair, 88, Deputy, passed away at 12:07 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Thornton Terrace in Madison, Indiana. She was born in Champaign, Illinois, on November 20, 1929, to the late Charles Lloyd and Helen G. (Dehaven) Henness. On July 29, 1950, Dolores married Arthur “Junior” Clair, and he preceded her in death on March 9, 1979.

She faithfully served her husband and four children in the home, as well as her Lord in the church. She was a partner of North Madison Christian Church and was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and watching the Pacers and Colts.

She will be missed by her children, Barb (Ron) Snipes, Deputy, Debra (Larry) Stout, South Carolina, and Dennis (Chris) Clair, Greentown; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Junior Henness. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Rybolt Chapel, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, Dolores’ funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow at Thrailkill Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.
