Obituary of Judi Alexander Judith “Judi” Ann Alexander August 19, 1942 ~ February 14, 2019 Judith “Judi” Ann Alexander, 76, Gas City, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born in Marion on August 19, 1942, to the late Frederick and Patsy (Craig) Mathias. On March 26, 1988, she married William J. Alexander, and he survives.

Judi graduated from Marion High School and worked at Maid 2 Sparkle for 3 years when she retired. She attended Calvary Baptist Church as well as New Hope. She enjoyed canning, cooking, baking, being outdoors in the summer, flowers, and helping other people.

She was outgoing, head-strong, and independent. She is survived by her loving husband, William J. Alexander; son, Dean William Alexander, Coldwater, Michigan; 12 grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Lisa Perry; grandchildren, Christopher Shawn Franks, Tracie Elaine Byer, Allen Perry, Dylan Perry and Chelsea Perry; and cousin, Rebecca (Jesus) Guajardo. Along with her parents, Judi was preceded in death by two sons, Chuck Perry and Donnie Perry.

The family will receive visitors from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. A memorial service will be held honoring Judi’s life immediately following the visitation at 2p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Curtis Roadarmer and Pastor Mark Joyner Memorial contributions may be directed to Cancer Services of Grant County, Tower Suites, 305 S. Norton Ave. , Marion, IN 46952.
