Obituary of Lynnette Conrad Lynnette J. Conrad, 72, Marion, went to be with the Lord at 2:02 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Colonial Oaks Healthcare Center in Marion. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, on December 1, 1946, Lynnette was the daughter of Hollen and Ruby J. Combs. Following high school graduation, Lynnette continued her education at Purdue University.

She retired from the Marion VA Medical Center, where she was a nurse’s aide. Lynnette loved the Lord and was a faithful member at Liberty Baptist Church in Sweetser. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer L. (Gabriel B.) Atkinson, Bellevue, NE; brother, Thomas H. (Bobbie) Combs, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, who are from Bellevue, NE: Jenna Lynne Knott; Kenyon Michael Knott; Janissa MaryAnne Knott; and Kirstin Leigh Gabrielle Atkinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollen and Ruby Combs; brother, Michael Combs; and sisters, Anne Lusher and Tara Renee Combs. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, Lynnette’s funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Terry Bishir officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Liberty Baptist Church, 517 Church St., Sweetser, IN 46987.
