Obituary of Monty Davis Monty K. Davis, 67, Marion, passed away in his home at 6:50 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019. He was born in Peru on October 28, 1951, to the late Glenwood and Rozella (Mosier) Davis. Monty was a toolmaker at Chrysler Transmission in Kokomo.

At the time of his passing, he was enrolled in classes at Everglades University. Monty will be remembered for how much he loved to make people happy. He enjoyed metal detecting, hunting, reading, computers, watching movies, and animals.

He was also an avid Donald Trump supporter! He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Holliday, whom he married on April 11, 2015; sons, Willard Davis and Robert Davis, both from Kokomo; daughter, Christine (David) Miller, Fairmount; step-son, Jeremiah Carl Thomas, Marion; step-daughters, Kassandra Withrow, Jonesboro, and Gracie Thomas, Marion; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sister, Lynneta (Harold) Poff, IA; and brother-in-law, David Bakken. Also preceding him in death was his sister, Elaine Bakken.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN. Following the time of visitation, Monty’s funeral service will begin at 1 p.m..
