Judith Ann Corazza December 28, 1944 – December 30, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Judith Ann Corazza, 74, of North Hunter Highway, Drums, died Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born in Hazleton, December 28, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Norbert and Lucy (DiCini) Corazza and was a member of the Good Shepard Church, Drums. Following graduation from Hazleton High School, Judith continued her education at the Hazleton State General Hospital School of Nursing where she received her Registered Nursing Degree.

She went on to earn a degree in Comprehensive Cardiovascular Nursing from the New York University Medical Center and was also a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey. Throughout her life, Judith was employed as an RN, primarily in the surgical department for hospitals in New York and New Jersey and most recently, until her retirement, at Wilkes Barre General Hospital. Judith was a lifetime member of the Hazleton Art League, was an English style horse rider and loved to care for her pet cats.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents was her nephew Marshall Christopher Corazza. Surviving are her brother Marshall Louis Corazza and his wife Lillian Wong-Corazza of New Zealand; nephew Carsten Corazza of New Zealand and nephew Peter Corazza and his wife Gina and their children Ian and Jade of Sugarloaf. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 AM in the Good Shepard R.C. Church, 87 South Hunter Highway, Drums.

Burial will follow in the St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Freeland. Friends may call at the Good Shepard Church on Monday morning from 9:00 AM until time of service. Memorial Donations to the Hazleton Art League, 225 East Broad Street, Hazleton, PA 18201 or to the Hazleton Animal Shelter, 101 North Poplar Street, Hazleton, PA 18201 are welcomed by the family.

Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home, Inc is assisting the family thru their Butler Chapel in Drums.
