Julie’s Obituary Julie Therese Borman, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the age of 80. The family will receive friends between 7 and 8 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2019 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2019 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Rev.

Khoi Tran, celebrant. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Julie was born on April 13, 1938 in Mt.

Vernon, Ohio. She graduated nursing school in 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky and spent the next 50 years working as a RN. She was married to Dr. David G. Borman for 25 years, and from this union, they had five children.

Julie was an active member of the Golden Girls for over 25 years and was a wonderful and devoted mother in her children’s lives. She spent countless hours being involved in PTA, Swim Team, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and genuinely helping everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ersel and Ferguson Theibert; and her six siblings.

She is survived by her children, Scott Borman (Debbie) of Garfield, AR, Leslie Gauthier (Carl) of Wichita Falls, Susan Veitenheimer (Gerald) of Windthorst, Karen Maxton (Greg) of San Antonio, and Laurie Portmann of Wichita Falls. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd.
