Margaret’s Obituary Margaret “Lynnie” Boyd, 55, of Wichita Falls passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 with a memorial service and visitation to follow at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wichita Falls with Frs.

Jonathan Demma and Ray McDaniel celebrants. Rite of Committal will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Lynnie was born on January 1, 1964 in Wichita Falls to David Timothy and Mary Lynn (Owens) Boyd.

She was the first female delivered in Wichita Falls that year. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Sacred Heart Alter Society. Lynnie enjoyed working with ceramics, and loved to travel.

She especially loved her niece Kayleigh, and nephews Matthew and David as if they were her own. Lynnie loved all animals, and it was obvious the animals knew it by their actions toward her. She was a kind, loving person who gave her all to everyone she knew.

She was preceded in death by her father on November 17, 2007; sister Christy Boyd; grandparents C. Lynn and Mary Jo Owens, and Tim and Estell Boyd; and uncle Gus Lama. She is survived by her mother, Mary Lynn Boyd of Wichita Falls; brother Tim Boyd of Fort Worth; aunt Jeri Lama of Wichita Falls; nephews Matthew and David Boyd of Fort Worth; and niece Kayleigh Hoffart of Austin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Lynnie’s name to P.E.T.S.
