Karen L Metz Morrison , February 12, 1952 — May 31, 2018

Karen L. Morrison, 66, of Pleasant Unity, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born February 12, 1952 in Latrobe, a daughter of Nancy Ann (Austraw) Ferrazzi, of Latrobe and the late Louis Anthony Metz, Jr She enjoyed going to church sales, playing games with her grandchildren and spending time in her home office.

She could never have enough pens, sharpies, stamps, envelopes and stickers. She also had a passion for making scrapbooks for all of her grandchildren. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Gail (Luttner) McGurk.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 49 years this July, Kevin J. Morrison; two sons, Scott Morrison and wife Michele, of Pleasant Unity, and Chad Morrison and wife Kimberly, of Latrobe; four grandchildren, Courtney, Hunter, Chloe and Maddie; her father-in-law, Charles “Fuzzy” McGurk, of Latrobe, four brothers, Kevin Metz and wife Norma of Illinois, Keith Ferrazzi, of California state, Lee Metz of Pittsburgh, and Craig Ransel and wife Vicki, of Ligonier; her sister, Jamie Richard and husband Roy, of Delaware; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring Karen’s request, there will be no public visitation. All services are private.
