OBITUARY Katherine S. Chatterton January 9, 1952 – October 21, 2018 Katherine S. “GoGo” (Pruitt) Chatterton, 66, of Swansea, passed away after a long illness Sunday, October 21, 2018. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late James and Louise (Vieira) Pruitt, she was a life-long resident of the area. Katherine was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1970 and Bristol County Community College, Class of 1988.

She was a registered nurse at Pediatric Associates in Fall River for over twenty years. GoGo enjoyed making jewelry, reading and vacationing with her family in Walt Disney World. She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer M. Hodges and her husband Charles “Chuck” of Swansea and Lynessa E. Chatterton also of Swansea; one granddaughter, Samantha Lyn Hodges of Swansea; one sister, Margaret L. “Peg” Pruitt of Swansea; a very close friend, Judy Goss of Swansea and several nephews.

She was the sister of the late James Pruitt and Julie DePew. Her funeral service will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd. , Swansea.

Visiting hours, Thursday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial is private. Contributions in her honor may be made to Boys and Girls Club of Fall River, 803 Bedford St., Fall River, MA 02723.

FAMILY The late James and Louise (Vieira) Pruitt, Parents Jennifer M. Hodges and her husband Charles “Chuck”, Daughter Lynessa E. Chatterton, Daughter Samantha Lyn Hodges, Granddaughter Margaret L. “Peg” Pruitt, Sister Judy Goss, Close Friend Several nephews. She was the sister of the late James Pruitt and Julie DePew.
